K's 1 year old birthday

It was K's birthday on June 23rd. Can't believe our baby is 1-year-old already! I have no idea where the time went... I can literally say that he is really growing like a weed. :)

We had a relaxing and enjoyable birthday celebration for K. We first went to the Children's Museum of Phoenix in the morning. It was his first time there and we just had a blast. In the afternoon after the boys nap we had a little celebration at home... it was not a big one, although we were lucky enough to have our gorgeous and awesomely talented neighbor/friend/baker Debbie so kindly to offer to make some yummy cakes for both of our birthday boys, Tino and K, in which their birthdays are only 5 days apart.

We let Tino go first, hoping that K would be prepared mentally for his turn to sing him a birthday song and blow out his candles.

Tino once again, just like last year, could not blow out his candles until, like, his at least 5th try... Look how concerned on all these little ones' faces. He was finally down to 1 candle out of 3 after some of these little one's help.

Nope, our careful planning still didn't help.

We could not squeeze a smile out of this birthday boy until finally he discovered how tasty his cake was.

Hmm...

K: I can sit here forever just eating my birthday cake.

Kathryn, Raoul, and Mila who was so determined that I wouldn't be able to get a good picture of her if she kept moving around.

I used these pictures and made a quick banner for showcasing his first years. He's such an adorable baby boy, how did we get so lucky? We are very blessed to have you being a part of our family, K. We love you!

I really need to update this blog more often, kids really do grow too fast for me to keep track of everything.
