Beautiful Sedona.

Since Santino started his new job he was on call every weekend except 2 weekends ago. We decided to go to Sedona to escape from the hot hot Phoenix, even for just a little bit. We enjoyed being in the nature and loved the greens (you know, you don't get to see that much green in Phoenix). It was a very peaceful day.

A nice walk by the river.
Relaxing time hanging out by the stream.
Eli said he wanted some alone time to ponder about things in life :)
An interesting contrast between the red rock nature view up there and cars/shops/pavement down in the foothill.Eli seems even smaller under the majestic view of the mountains.
On our way home we also got to see an amazing sunset. I only wish to be able to catch it with my camera to share it with you. We are so grateful for the nature. It helps to remind us slow down in our daily busy life and remember who we are.

Spring Comes In No Time.

There is one interesting phenomenon in Central Texas: In winter time everywhere is brown and ugly, but all in a sudden by the spring time, all shades of green show up just like that. It's beautiful. This was taken at the Stillhouse Hollow Lake. It was a cloudy day, so the color of the trees were even more vibrant. It was quite breathtaking.

The Train Park.

We went to visit the Train Park in town with our friends the Hadley's for some family pictures.

This mother & daughter one is one of my favorites.
I love the rustic colors of the trains,
or black and white.I love the sweet genuine smiles on each of their faces.
We are going to miss seeing them everyday...

Beautiful Roses...

Yep, despite the fact that it is already the end of November, being in Texas, we are still getting beautiful roses blooming at the Rose Garden Center in Downtown Houston...

Cruising to Cabo San Lucas, Mexico

We stopped at my sister for a day before we arrived to the San Diego port, ... so good to see them. Here's a snap shot with my niece Keira...
We met up with my friend Lori in San Diego. It's been 8 years we had not seen each other. It was wonderful to meet her & Jonathan, and their little ones...
We were sad that we didn't get any pictures together though.

Here's a picture while our ship was traveling in the middle of the Pacific Ocean...Peaceful Sunsets. One of the sweet towel creatures they made in the room daily...
Minature golfing in the middle of the ocean...
